Our engineers have outfitted a number of our industry-proven pneumatic and electric grippers to easily adapt to, and maximize the high repeatability of Cobots from Universal Robots, Doosan, Sawyer & Baxter, Kuka LBR, Fanuc CR, and other Collaborative Industrial Robots.

Many of the Gripper Kits require fingers that EMI engineers can help design based on years of expertise solving customer applications from simple to complex, machined, or 3D printed.

Collaborative robot vacuum gripping kit

The Pneumatic 3D-V Vacuum Kit for Universal Robots and other collaborative robots is a fully customizable 3D printed End of Arm Tooling that can be made to meet your specific handling needs. Any custom 3D-V kit can have up to 16 vacuum cups within a 375mm x 275mm footprint. EMI can provide the ideal tool to you that is both lightweight and smart with an integrated sensing module.

Backed by EMI’s years of experience in the Plastic Injection Molding Industry, the MAG Gripper Kit offers expandability by allowing you to mount a 3D-printed or machined nest and replacing the friction ring that is pre-installed on it. The rounded edge shroud design and interface plate, make this double-acting gripper easy to mount to your UR3, UR5 or UR10. EMI’s URCap makes the installation and programming simple and intuitive for all users. Electric 2-finger parallel gripper with a PA-12 (Nylon) shroud and capacitor box. The system can be assembled on the UR3, UR5 or UR10 collaborative robots and the included capacitor box allows for a direct connection to the robot wrist. Standard fingers are also included.

Mount the gripper with the included mechanical flange to the wrist of the robot and install the protective cover and the capacitor box. The system can be electrically connected directly to the M8 plug connector at the wrist of the robot (not cables along the robot arm). The system can be operated via digital input and output to/from the tool interface of the UR robot.

End Of The Arm Tool (EOAT) for vacuum based pick & place operations. The system can be assembled on the UR3, UR5 or UR10 collaborative robots and the included pneumatic actuator and components allow for a direct connection to the robot wrist and to the pneumatic power source. Mount the system with the included mechanical flange to the wrist of the robot and connect the main valve inlet to the pneumatic power source. The system can be connected directly to the M8 plug at the wrist of the robot (no cables along the robot arm). The system can be operated via digital output from the tool interface of the UR robot.
