SmartShift Automatic Tool Changers

  • No air or electricity required when coupling! Engaged by a simple mechanical mechanism which does not require air or electricity when changing tools. It slides to attach and detach using a unique wedge design.

  • High precision teaching is not required for tool changes. Because the tool and robot sides detach by sliding, automatic replacement by the robot is performed by the linear movement of the robot arm. There is no need for high-precision teaching.

  • Automatic and manual tool changing is possible. Automatic tool change is possible via robot arm or just press and hold a button to detach manually.

  • Built-in electricity pass-through, compatible with any tool.

  • Lightweight and compact solution. With a compact diameter of Ø63mm, this lightweight tool changer has a total weight of appx. 400g and has little effect on the robot's payload.

  • High precision, high rigidity, high durability! 0.05mm repeatibility. 50kg Payload capacity. 160 million cycles.

  • Compatible with a wide range of cobots. ABB, Doosan, Kuka, Omron Techman, UR, Fanuc, Kawasaki, Yaskawa and more.
